PSEB 12th Exam 2021: Punjab Board to hold exams only for 3 compulsory subjects, says report

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will conduct
12th PSEB exams 2021
in June, however, the dates are yet to be decided, according to the Hindustan Times report. The board is also considering conducting PSEB 12th exams 2021 for only three major subjects.

As per the report of Hindustan Times, PSEB chairman Yograj said on Monday, “Though we are yet to decide on the dates due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we will be holding the exams for three compulsory subjects in each stream. The question papers are ready and answer sheets have been made available across 2,600 centres for the exams. We will ensure social distancing at every exam centre.”
“If a student is not satisfied with the result, he/she can write to the board and the theory exam will be taken once the Covid-19 situation eases,” he further added.
Around 3.18 lakh students will be taking the PSEB board exam 2021 Class 12.
However, the board has not given any specific method which helps in deciding the major subjects of each stream and how to formulate the marks.
On May 17, the Punjab board released PSEB Class 10 and 8 results on the basis of internal assessment. The board has also declared PSEB 5th result 2021 on May 24. The PSEB Class 5 exams were conducted only for four subjects.
