Punjab NEET PG 2025 round 2 counselling begins tomorrow; BFUHS lists five eligibility categories

Use NowBaba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot has announced the Punjab NEET PG counselling schedule for round 2. The application link for Rajasthan NEET PG round 2 counselling will be available tomorrow, December 10, on the official website, bfuhs.ac.in.
The Punjab NEET PG round 2 counselling will be conducted for admission to MD, MS, PG Diploma, DNB, PG Diploma in Sports Medicine, six-month training in Ultrasonography courses offered at state medical colleges.
While filling the application form, general category candidates are required to pay a counselling fee of Rs 5,900, and SC candidates will have to pay Rs 2,950, including 18% GST through university payment portal.
For government colleges, general category candidates will have to pay a security deposit of Rs 25,000, and reserved category candidates will have to deposit Rs 10,000. All candidates, irrespective of the category they belong to, will have to pay Rs 2 lakh security deposit if applying for private medical college.
As per the schedule, the university will publish the seat matrix, begin registration, and open a willingness portal to participate in the counselling on December 10. Candidates will have to register by December 11.
“The candidates who have joined the allotted seats of Round-I in the State of Punjab are allowed to surrender the seat upto 13.12.2025 upto 05:00 PM with free exit,” it said.

Who is eligible for Punjab NEET PG 2025 round 2
Candidates applying for the Punjab NEET PG round 2 counselling should fall under any one of the five categories to be eligible.
Category 1 – Candidates who did not get any seat allotment in round one.
Category 2 – Registered candidates whose first round seat allotment got cancelled during the document verification during college reporting. Those who secured seats under reserved quota, due to change of category from reserved to unreserved or PwD status, but are still eligible in the next round of seat allotment, with changed category, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
Category 3 - Candidates who have reported or joined an allotted institute during the college reporting period and submitted willingness to participate in the second round for upgradation.
Category 4 – Candidates who exited during round 1 by availing free exit will be allowed to login again using their earlier registered credentials.
Category 5 – Candidates who did not register in round 1 can do fresh registration and can participate directly in round 2.
