Punjab NEET PG 2025 round 3 counselling begins tomorrow for 280 seats; merit list on January 7

The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has announced the Punjab NEET PG counselling schedule for round 3. As per the schedule, the registration process for Punjab NEET PG round 3 counselling will begin tomorrow, January 3, on the official website, bfuhs.ac.in.

The BFUHS has released the round 3 provisional vacancy list for online counselling today, January 2. According to these vacancies, a total of 280 seats are available for the Punjab NEET PG round 3 counselling, including 50 NRI seats.

While filling the Punjab NEET PG round 3 application form, general category candidates are required to pay a counselling fee of Rs 5,900, and SC candidates will have to pay Rs 2,950, including 18% GST, through the university payment portal.

For government colleges, general category candidates will have to pay a security deposit of Rs 25,000, while reserved category candidates need to deposit Rs 10,000. For private medical colleges, all candidates are required to pay a security deposit of Rs 2 lakh, regardless of category.

According to the schedule, the university will release the provisional merit list on January 7. Choice filling and locking will start on January 8 and end on January 9 at 5 PM.

The Punjab NEET PG counselling will be conducted for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS), Post MBBS DNB, Post MBBS Diploma, and six-month training in Ultrasonography courses offered at state medical colleges.

Candidates who registered and paid the security deposit in round 2 counselling but were not allotted a seat do not need to pay the deposit again. However, they must confirm their willingness to participate in round 3 through the university’s online payment gateway.
