The Udaipur administration (Rajasthan) has ordered all schools to remain closed till January 18 in view of the cold wave situation.
The Udaipur administration (Rajasthan) has ordered all schools to remain closed till January 18 in view of the cold wave situation. The physical classes for students up to Class 8 across all schools in will remain suspended between January 16 and January 18, 2023. The private schools across the district will function from 9 am to 3 pm between January 19 and January 22, 2023.
In a letter, Prabha Gautam, Additional District Collector (City), Udaipur stated that due to the continuous drop in temperatures in the upcoming days, the outbreak of the century, as well as the possibility of a cold wave, a holiday has been declared in all government/non-government schools in Udaipur district until January 18, 2023.
The order will be applicable with immediate effect on all government private and CBSE affiliated schools of Udaipur district. However, the timings of the school staff will be according to the schedule for the academic year. Along with this, the schedule of all the examinations will also remain the same and the timings of all private schools from January 19, 2023, to January 23, 2023, will be from 9 am to 3 pm.
