Try NowThe National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 re-examination today, Sunday, June 21. The medical entrance test for more than 22 lakh candidates will be held in pen-and-paper mode from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. The agency has issued a detailed advisory covering reporting time, documents required, dress code, prohibited items and other important instructions for candidates.
Candidates should report to their allotted centres as per the timing mentioned on the admit card. The gates will close at 1:30 pm and no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre after the stipulated time. Candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions mentioned on their admit cards.
Biometric verification and face authentication will be conducted at the centres. Candidates are therefore advised to cooperate with the verification process and keep the required documents readily available.

Re-NEET UG 2026: Documents to Carry
Candidates should carry the following documents to the examination centre . Applicants who fail to produce the required documents may face difficulties during verification and entry procedures.
- NEET UG 2026 admit card
- One valid original photo identity proof
- Passport-size photograph as specified by NTA
- Any additional document mentioned on the admit card
Re-NEET UG Exam 2026: Dress Code
Candidates requiring special attire due to religious customs should follow the instructions issued by the NTA and report early for additional screening. To ensure smooth security checks, candidates are required to wear simple and comfortable clothing.
- Light-coloured clothes with half sleeves are preferred
- Slippers or sandals with low heels are permitted
- Heavy garments, elaborate embroidery and full-sleeved outfits should be avoided
- Jewellery, ornaments and metallic accessories are not allowed inside the examination hall

Re-NEET Exam UG 2026: List of Prohibited Items
The NTA has strictly prohibited candidates from carrying the following items inside the examination centre:
- Mobile phones
- Smart watches and fitness bands
- Bluetooth devices and earphones
- Calculators
- Electronic gadgets of any kind
- Wallets, handbags and purses
- Study material, notes and papers
- Pen drives and storage devices
- Jewellery and metallic accessories
The agency has clarified that no storage facility will be provided at most centres. Candidates found carrying prohibited items may be denied entry or face disciplinary action.
Important instructions for candidates
Candidates should carefully follow all directions issued by invigilators during the examination. They must sign the attendance sheet wherever required and ensure that all details on the answer sheet are filled correctly. Any attempt to use unfair means can lead to cancellation of candidature and further action under examination rules.
