REET 2022: Know eligibility criteria, level 1 and 2 syllabus

NEW DELHI: Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) will begin the registration for Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teachers (REET) 2022 from today, April 18 at the official website reetbser2022.in. The last date to apply is May 18. REET 2022 will be conducted on July 23 and 24 (subject to change depending on the number of applicants and availability of exam centers). The exam will be conducted in two shifts - 10am to 12:30pm and 3pm to 5:30pm. Registered candidates will be able to download the REET 2022 admit card from July 14.

REET 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Level 1
For being eligible for REET 2022 level 1 (Class 1 to 5), candidates need to fulfill one of the following requirements:
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) Regulation, 2002.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
- Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education
Level 2
For being eligible for REET 2022 level 2 (Class 6 to 8), candidates need to fulfill one of the following requirements:
- Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education passed or appearing in final year of this course
- At least 50% marks either in Graduation or post Graduation and BEd passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (BEd).
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1-year BEd passed, in accordance with the NCTE
- (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (BElEd).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year BA, BScEd or BA Ed, BScEdU
- Graduation or post graduation with at least 50% marks and BEd (Special Education) passed or appearing in final year of BEd (Special Education)
