NEW DELHI: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will soon declare the RRB Assistant Loco Pilot (RRB ALP) result 2024. The board conducted the RRB ALP CBT 1 exam from November 25 to 29, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check their RRB ALP result 2024 through the regional RRB websites or at rrbapply.gov.in.
The recruitment board has not yet announced the RRB ALP result declaration dates. However, based on past trends, the RRB typically declares exam results one to two months after the exam is conducted. The board is expected to issue the RRB ALP CBT 1 scorecard along with the result. Candidates will also be notified of their qualifying status for the RRB ALP CBT 2 exam after the result is declared.
Candidates will have to enter their application number or roll number and date of birth or password to check and download the RRB ALP scorecard 2024. The board will announce the result along with the zone-wise RRB ALP cut-off 2024. The RRB ALP recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 18,799 vacancies in the department.
RRB ALP Result 2024: Qualifying marks, selection process
The RRB ALP cut-off marks vary across different zones but candidates will have to score above the minimum qualifying marks. However, securing only the minimum qualifying marks does not guarantee selection. To be eligible for the RRB ALP next round of the selection process, candidates need to score higher than the zone-specific RRB ALP cut-off marks.
Candidates from the Unreserved (UR) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category will have to score a minimum of 40 % to qualify the RRB ALP exam. Candidates from Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories will have to score a minimum of 30% marks.
The RRB ALP selection process includes five stages including CBT 1, CBT 2, computer-based aptitude test (CBAT), Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (ME).
