SSC MTS 2024 application correction facility begins today; edit form by August 17

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will begin the online application correction facility for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) recruitment exam today, August 16. Candidates who filled out the SSC MTS application form can edit it through the official website at ssc.gov.in. The last date to make corrections in the SSC MTS 2024 application form is August 17.

Candidates will have to enter their application number and password to log in and make changes to the SSC MTS 2024 application form. The SSC MTS 2024 exam is scheduled to be held from September 30 to November 14 in multiple shifts.

Candidates must pay a processing fee of Rs 200 for the first correction to the SSC MTS 2024 application form and Rs 500 for any subsequent corrections before resubmitting their applications.

“In case, any correction/ change is required to be made in the already filled application form, candidates may utilize the ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ for the same. Request received after expiry of the above-mentioned correction window for any change/ correction/ modification in the application form in any mode of communication viz. Post, Fax, E-mail, by hand etc., shall not be entertained by the Commission and will be summarily rejected,” the official notice read.

The commission will issue the SSC CGL 2024 admit card on the official website of the respective regions. The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 9,583 vacancies. Of these, 6,144 vacancies are for MTS posts, and 3,439 are for Havaldar posts in CBIC and CBN.

SSC MTS 2024: Exam pattern

The SSC MTS 2024 Paper 1 exam will be conducted in two sessions including session 1,2. For session 1, questions will be available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages. In session 2, the general awareness section will also be offered in these languages. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in session 2 and there will be no negative marking in session 1.
