Study Abroad: Ireland announces virtual education fair on February 8

NEW DELHI : Education in Ireland, an initiative of the Irish government, has announced its forthcoming ‘Study in Ireland’ virtual fair for students from India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The education fair is scheduled for February 8, 2024.

The event will be offering an opportunity for students to explore educational prospects with 14 Irish higher education institutions. Alongside facilitating chat and video interactions, the education fair will feature three discipline-led seminars with faculty and a dedicated alumni session.

Ireland offers two-year stay back visa and industry-led courses in emerging fields such as robotics and aviation are some of the reasons that make it a popular study abroad destination, as per an official statement.

Ireland Education Fair: List of participating universities

Following is the list of higher educational institutions which will participate in the virtual education fair:

• Southeast Technological University
• University of Galway
• Technological University Shannon
• Mary Immaculate College
• Maynooth University
• Dublin Business School
• Trinity College Dublin
• Dublin City University
• Atlantic Technological University
• Griffith College
• Dundalk Institute of Technology
