Try NowNEW DELHI: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu will conduct the counselling for Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS 2021 admission. The registration dates for Tamil Nadu NEET 2021 counselling will be announced soon at tnmedicalselection.org.
As per the eligibility criteria, NEET-qualified candidates belonging to the Tamil Nadu domicile can apply for admission. On the basis of Tamil Nadu NEET 2021 counselling, admission will be granted to as many as 8,000 MBBS and 2,873 BDS seats in the state.
The Tamil Nadu NEET 2021 counselling will be conducted in online mode for seats under 85% state quota and 100%, government and private colleges, respectively.
Tamil Nadu NEET 2021 counselling process
To apply for admission, candidates will have to fill the Tamil Nadu MBBS application form 2021. On the basis of registration and NEET scores, DME will prepare and release the Tamil Nadu NEET 2021 merit list.
During counselling, applicants will have to fill in their preferences of courses and colleges for Tamil Nadu MBBS admission. Based on the choices filled, NEET-UG rank, seat matrix, reservation, and other factors, DME will grant Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS admission 2021.
Tamil Nadu NEET 2021 cut-off
The cutoff is the last rank at which Tamil Nadu NEET 2021 admission from respective categories will be granted. Aspirants can check previous years' NEET cutoff in Tamil Nadu below.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a clarification on state quota counselling and the All India Quota (AIQ). Agency clarified that "The NTA does not have any responsibility towards the correctness/genuinity of the uploaded information/documents during the application process."
