Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has announced the recruitment process of 2,222 vacancies of graduate teachers and block resource teacher educators (BRTE). Candidates will be able to register for the Tamil Nadu graduate teacher recruitment process between November 1 and 30 on the official website, trb.tn.gov.in.
The board said the Tamil Nadu graduate teacher exam will be held on January 7, 2024. Candidates applying for the recruitment prices should have cleared Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TN TET) paper 2 and should not be more than 53 years of age. However, applicants from SC, ST, BC Muslims, BC, MBC/DNC and DW should not be more than 58 years.
TN Teacher Recruitment: Eligibility
Candidates applying for the post should have completed bachelor’s degree, along with a two year Diploma in Elementary Education. Aspirants who have secured 45% marks in graduation and hold a BEd degree can also apply.
Candidates who have secured 50% marks in Cass 12 and hold four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (BElEd) or four-year BA/BScEd or BAEd/BScEd are eligible for the recruitment process. Candidates holding BEd (Special Education) degree and a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks can also apply.
The candidates should have obtained a degree or its equivalent with subjects for which the recruitment will be made. They should also possess adequate knowledge of Tamil.

The board said 30% of the total vacancies will be reserved horizontally for Women candidates as per the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016. The candidates will have to upload all the relevant documents during the submission of online application. It shall be ensured by the candidates that the Online application shall not be submitted without uploading the required certificates.
