TS EdCET 2024 registration begins tomorrow; eligibility criteria, application fee

TS EdCET Exam 2024: Candidates should fill out the application form by May 6 at edcetadm.tsche.ac.in.
NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will begin the registration process for the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET 2024) tomorrow, March 6. Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, will administer the exam for admission to the two-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) course for the academic year 2024-25.
Candidates who want to appear in the TS EdCET 2024 exam should fill out the application form through the official website, edcetadm.tsche.ac.in. As per the official schedule, the last date for submission and registration of the TS EdCET 2024 online application form without a late fee is May 6.
Candidates who belong to unreserved (UR), other backward class (OBC) categories will have to pay an application for Rs 750 to register for the TS EdCET 2024 exam. For scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), person with disability (PwD) category candidates, the application fee is Rs 550.
Candidates who fail to fill out the TS EdCET 2024 application form by May 6, can fill it out by May 13 by paying a late fee of Rs 250. The TS EdCET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on May 23. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. Shift one exam will held from 10 am to 12 pm and shift two exams will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm.

TS EDCET 2024: Eligibility criteria
Candidates should check the eligibility criteria for the TS EDCET 2024 exam before applying for it.
Age limit: Candidates should be a minimum of 19 years old on July 1 of the year in which the notification is published. No upper age limit criteria will be followed for reserved category candidates.
Education qualifications:

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Business Management (BBM), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), bachelor’s in engineering and technology or master’s degree with at least 50% marks.

The minimum passing percentage for SC, ST, OBC category candidates is 40% marks.
