Two days left for NEET 2020: Download NTA admit card and prepare for exam

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency is all set to conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- NEET 2020 on September 13, despite the protest seeking the postponement of the exam. And with just two days left for India’s single medical entrance examination, it’s high time that aspirants keep the checklist ready for the D-Day. Also in the last three days of NEET exam, candidates can revise the concepts thoroughly for the test.

NEET 2020 will be held for three hours with 180 multiple-choice questions. Officially, a total of 15.97 lakh candidates will be appearing for NEET exam 2020 for admission to 80,055 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH and 525 BVSc & AH offered in colleges of India. NEET 2020 admit card and why it’s important?

On September 10, 2020, over 40 exam centres changed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) due to the implementation of COVID-19 measures. As a result, such candidates are advised to download the fresh NEET 2020 admit card.

Admit card of NEET 2020 is an important document since it not only carries the details of exam timings and venue but also the important instructions and COVI9-19 advisory to be followed by every candidate on the day of the exam. Each aspirant is required to carry a hard copy of all the three pages of NEET 2020 admit card with themselves on the exam day. Under no circumstances, any candidate will be allowed to enter the NEET 2020 examination hall without the admit card.

Quick steps to download NEET admit card 2020

Those candidates who still haven’t download NEET 2020 admit card must follow the instructions mentioned below.

• Visit the official website of NTA NEET and download the admit card from the link provided in the current events.

• Fill in the details required at the Candidate Login portal. These include NEET application number, date of birth, password, security pin.

• Verify details mentioned on the hall ticket of NEET and in case of discrepancies, inform the authorities immediately at the helpline numbers.

• Take 3-4 printouts of the entire admit card PDF along with the details of COVID-19 undertaking.

What else to carry with NEET admit card 2020 at the exam centre?

Aspirants will be required to carry the below-mentioned items with the admit card of NEET at the examination centre.

• Mask on face

• Gloves on hand

• Personal transparent water bottle

• Personal small hand sanitizer (50 ml)

• Identification Proof (Aadhaar card, Ration card, Passport, PAN card, Driving license, Voter ID or other government authorized document)
