Candidates selected in the round 5 of the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme admission at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee and IIT DM Jabalpur for the academic year 2025-26 should accept the seat, select freeze or float options, and complete seat acceptance payment by July 9 till 6 pm.
“An email with payment details will be sent to all the candidates who have been allotted a seat. The seat acceptance fee MUST BE PAID through the payment portal,” the notice on the official website reads.
Notably, a provisional seat allotment letter will be available for download at the candidate’s login portal after the payment for the seat acceptance is completed.
"Applicants can withdraw during the prescribed withdrawal schedules for Rounds III and IV but Seat Acceptance Fees paid in the Rounds III, IV and V will not be refunded," as per the official notice.
Candidates must be aware that if they are allotted their first choice of institute, they can either freeze (accept) or decline the offer. Moreover, if the applicants choose to decline the offer, they will not be considered for subsequent rounds, and their current seat will be cancelled. It will be filled during the upcoming rounds of allotment.
Furthermore, if the selected applicant in the UCEED 2025 counselling round 5 choose to participate for the upcoming rounds, they must select 'float' choice.
