UGC NET 2021: NTA reschedules Kannada exam; new date shortly

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency has rescheduled the UGC NET 2021 exam for Kannada subject due to technical problems. The NTA informed candidates who were impacted due to technical problems in Kannada subject of UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles scheduled today, December 26, 2021, that the new dates will be announced shortly at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The NTA in an official notice said, “Due to technical issues at some centres of UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 examination in Subject “Kannada” held on 26.12.2021 (Shift-1) in CBT mode, the scheduled examination could not be conducted.”
NTA has decided to reschedule the examination of these impacted candidates. The revised date for the rescheduled Examination will be uploaded shortly along with the revised admit card for these candidates.
UGC NET 2021 phase 2 exams began on December 24 and will continue till December 27, 2021 for for subjects including Bengali, Hindi, Sanskrit and Home Science. Along with UGC NET 2021 Kannada subject, Hindi group 1 and 2 are also scheduled to be held today, however, some candidates faced technical errors while appearing for the exam. Candidates can download the UGC NET 2021 admit card from the official website.
Meanwhile, UGC NET 2021 exam dates for phase 3 and four rescheduled exams due to cyclone Jawad were announced. The exams for these candidates will be held on January 4, 5, 2022.
