NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to conduct the UGC NET 2022 exam in the first or second week of June 2022 in online mode. As per the tweet of Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, UGC Chairman, for the merged cycles of December 2021 and June 2022, the next UGC-NET will be conducted in the first/second week of June 2022.

He further added that the exact schedule for the UGC NET 2022 exam will be announced once NTA finalizes the dates. Hence, the UGC NET 2022 exam date and registration details will soon be available on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
To apply for the UGC NET exam 2022, candidates must have attained a master’s degree with a minimum of 55 percent marks.
UGC NET 2022 exam will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only. The exam will consist of two papers which will be of objective type, multiple-choice questions.

The National Academic Examination (NTA) conducts the National Eligibility Test (NET) to award Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or Eligibility for Assistant Professorship based on the performance of candidates.NTA conducts the UGC Net exam twice in a year generally in the months of June and December.
