University of Bath invites applications for MSc Global Public Health Policy; eligibility

The course will help students to learn about the geopolitical, social, and natural factors that impact public health and well-being.
NEW DELHI: The University of Bath is inviting applications for MSc Global Public Health and Policy for the academic year 2024-25. The session will begin from the month of September 2024 and the last date to apply for this course is 30 June 2024.
Students will have the opportunity to work with research-active professors as well as representatives from the Department of Social & Policy Sciences' centres and groups, all of which have strong links with health organizations across the globe. Students will also have the chance to do a practice track project as an alternative to a dissertation.
Eligibility criteria for MSc Global Public Health and Policy program
- To be eligible for this programme candidates must hold a bachelor degree, in an appropriate health subject, with first class division. Due to the number of different grading scales in use, candidates should upload a copy of the grading scale used by their institution, along with their transcript, when they submit their application.
- Applicants having an undergraduate degree in other disciplines are also considered provided they have relevant professional experience.
- Candidates must submit a personal statement detailing their relevant academic qualifications, why they wish to undertake the course, and their future goals.
- The English language requirements are a minimum of either a 6.5 IELTS score with no less than 6.0 in all components, a Pearson Test of English Academic score of 62 with no less than 62 in the writing element, and no less than 59 in all other elements, or a TOEFL IBT score of 90 overall with a minimum of 24 in the writing component and a minimum of 21 in all other components.
- Students who graduated within the last 5 years from an Indian university where the medium of instruction is English, and with at least 75% marks in English in Class 12 examinations, can also apply.

Fees
The fees for this course are £26,500 for Indian students starting in September 2024. After accepting the offer from the university, students need to pay a £1,000 deposit, which is deducted from their tuition expenses following registration.
