UP board 10th exams 2021: No decision has been taken yet, says official
Uttar Pradesh board secretary, Divya Kant Shukla, said that the board has not taken a final decision on UP board Class 10 exams 2021 yet.

NEW DELHI : Refuting rumours on the cancellation of the UP board Class 10 exams 2021, the Uttar Pradesh board secretary said that no decision has been taken yet. UP board secretary, Divya Kant Shukla said that the board has not taken a final decision on the conduction of the UP board 10th exams as of now.
UP board Class 10 exams were scheduled to be conducted from May 8 to 25, 2021. However, the exams were postponed due to an exponential increase in the number of COVERED-19 cases.
On the other hand, students are requesting to cancel the UP board Class 10 exams as it can risk their lives. Hashtags such as #cancelupboardexams2021 and #saveboardstudents are trending on Twitter.
Earlier, Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma said, “In view of the coronavirus spread, the secondary education board’s (UPMSP) proposed exams from May 8 have been postponed till May 20 and university, college exams have been postponed till May 15. A decision on exams will be taken in the first week of May.”
It is expected that the Uttar Pradesh board will come up with the final decision regarding UP board 10th exams 2021 soon. Therefore, students must wait for the official announcement.
Meanwhile, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will chair a high-level meeting tomorrow on May 22, 2021, with all State and UT’s education ministers and discuss the Class 12 board exams .
