UPMSP asks schools to rectify errors in student details ahead of UP Board 10th, 12th results 2025

Download NowNEW DELHI : The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has asked the schools to make corrections in the details of students who appeared for UP Board Class 10, 12 exams 2025. The portal to rectify the errors will be available on the official website, upmsp.edu.in from April 7, 2025 to April 9, 2025 till 6 pm. The board is providing a “last” opportunity for making changes before the declaration of UP Board 10th, 12th results 2025.

The board highlighted errors in particulars such as class, subject, spelling error in name, date of birth, gender, case, photograph of UP Board 10th, 12th students. School heads are required to log in to the UP Board official website and download the format to modify the details of candidates.
“For the information of all concerned, it is hereby informed that if there are any errors in the educational details of students who have appeared for the Year 2025 High School and Intermediate Examinations under the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh, such as subject/class errors, spelling errors in the student's name, mother's/father's name, date of birth, gender, caste, photograph, etc., the concerned school principal may log in to the Board’s website upmsp.edu.in, download the prescribed format and manual, and make necessary corrections,” said UPMSP in an official notification.
Explaining the process of making changes, the UP Board said that the concerned principal must fill out the required corrections in the prescribed format as per the manual, verify the details themselves, get approval from the district inspector of schools, and upload the filled-out format along with all necessary documents on the website.

UPMSP said that the facility is being provided as many students end up troubled due to wrong details after the declaration of the UP Board results . “It is often seen that due to incorrect recording of educational details of students by the school, the candidates have to wander around and face trouble for correction after the declaration of the result. Hence, this last opportunity is provided for correction before the declaration of the result,” the board stated.
The state board informed that if a school fails to submit the application for corrections within the specified time, and corrections are still requested afterward, such schools will be identified, and penalties will be imposed as per the rules.
