NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Lucknow has announced the schedule for the second round of Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (UP NEET UG) counselling 2024 for admission to MBBS, BDS programmes in medical and dental colleges across the state. The registration process for round 2 will commence from September 9 on the official website, upneet.gov.in. The last date to register for UP NEET UG 2024 counselling round 2 is September 13, as per the schedule.

Along with the dates, the directorate also released instructions for candidates for the second round of admissions. It asked candidates to assess their eligibility according to the directives in the UP NEET UG 2024 brochure.
Candidates who registered for the first round of counselling and paid the registration fee of Rs 2,000 are not required to register or pay the registration fee again for the second round. New candidates who did not participate in the first round must register online by paying the registration fee.
However, applicants who registered but did not pay the registration fee and security deposit in the first round can participate in the second round by paying these amounts as per the schedule.
For participation in the second round, new candidates must deposit a security amount online of Rs 30,000 for government college seats, Rs 2,00,000 for private medical college seats, and Rs 1,00,000 for private dental college seats.
Candidates who were unallotted or admitted or not reported from the first round do not need to pay the security deposit again for the second round.
Only candidates whose original documents have been verified online and who have deposited the security amount will be eligible for choice filling. Candidates who did not upload valid documents or whose documents were rejected in the first round can upload valid documents during the second round registration and get their documents re-verified.
