UP Police constable recruitment 2026 PBT exams from June 8 to 10: UPPRPB

The UPPRPB will hold an offline, paper-based test (PBT) to fill a total of 32,679 vacancies for various posts.
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has announced the exam dates for various posts under UP police constable recruitment 2026. The written examination will be held from June 8 to 10, 2026, in two shifts each day.
The UPPRPB will conduct an offline, paper-based test (PBT) to fill a total of 32,679 vacancies under the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2026.
These vacancies include constable civil police, constable PAC, armed police, constable special security force, female constable for women battalion, jail warder (Male), and others.

UP Police Recruitment 2026: Selection process, pattern
The Uttar Pradesh police recruitment selection process includes a written test, document verification process, physical standard test (PST), and physical efficiency test (PET).
The salary range for police constable positions in the Uttar Pradesh police department includes a pay band of Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 according to the old pay scale, and a pay matrix of Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 at pay level 3 according to the new pay scale.
According to the examination pattern, the written test will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for a total of 300 marks. This will cover sections on general Hindi, general knowledge, numerical and mental ability, and logical reasoning.
The UP police constable examination will be 150 minutes long and will also include negative marking.
