The Virohan scholarship scheme is open to Class 12 female students from science and other streams, and does not require a NEET score to be eligible.
Virohan, a healthcare education institute, has launched a Rs 2 crore scholarship programme for women seeking to pursue healthcare courses at medical colleges and universities across India. The scholarship initiative is aimed to boost awareness and participation in allied healthcare careers.
Under the initiative, every eligible female applicant enrolling in a four to five-year bachelor's degree programme or a one-year university certificate programme through Virohan will receive a scholarship of Rs 50,000, which will be adjusted upfront against the course fee at the time of admission, according to a press release.
The Virohan scholarship is open to Class 12 students from science as well as other academic streams, and does not require a NEET score for eligibility. Interested candidates can apply through Virohan's official website at virohan.com.

Virohan Scholarship Scheme 2026: Eligibility
As per the eligibility, meritorious Class 12 students can qualify for the financial assistance based on their Class 12 academic performance. Students scoring 75 % or above are eligible for a scholarship of up to Rs 1 lakh, while those securing 90% or more can receive up to Rs 2 lakh.
According to the institute, the scholarship programme is intended to encourage more women to explore career opportunities in the broader healthcare sector, particularly in allied healthcare professions that continue to witness strong demand.
The institute highlighted that these professions offer structured career pathways, long-term growth prospects and employment opportunities for Class 12 graduates without the need for NEET qualification.
Nalin Saluja, co-founder and CTO of Virohan, said: “A career in healthcare provides purpose, stability and long-term growth, while the global healthcare industry continues to face a shortage of skilled professionals.”
“A lack of awareness remains a key challenge, with many students and parents unaware of the range of healthcare careers available. The scholarship initiative, he said, is designed to make these opportunities more visible and encourage more women to pursue rewarding careers in the sector,” Saluja added.
