Download NowNEW DELHI: The West Bengal board Class 12 exam conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (WBCHSE), will begin today, April 2, 2022. The Uccha Madhyamik exams will be held from April 2 to 26. About 7.45 lakh candidates are expected to attend the Class 12 examinations conducted by the West Bengal board this year. The exam timing is 2 pm to 5:15 pm.

Students will be attending the West Bengal 12th exam from their own schools. "Examinees will write the papers at home centres (own schools) as certain covid protocols are to be followed in making seating arrangements for the candidates and for that, more school buildings are required compared to other years," Chiranjib Bhattacharya, WBCHSE president told a press conference.

According to the West Bengal 12th exam date sheet 2022, the exam will start with the first language today, followed by the second language on April 4.
West Bengal higher secondary board 2022 guidelines
WBCHSE Class 12 students are instructed to follow the exam guidelines on the admit card. The Uccha Madhyamik examination 2022 guidelines are given at the WBCHSE official website -- wbchse.nic.in.
- Students are required to possess the admit card while appearing for the WBCHSE Class 12 exam.
- Students will get three hours to write the WBCHSE 2022 exam. Extra 15 minutes is provided to read the question paper.
- Candidates are barred from using any electronic gadgets in the examination hall.
- Unfair means in the exam hall will not be entertained.
- Students are required to wear masks at all times and to practice social distancing and follow other Covid appropriate behaviour.
