92% students from the first batch of SRM-AP placed

The average salary of the students placed is Rs 6.2 lakh per annum and 57 percent of students had dream offers.
NEW DELHI: This first batch of graduating students of SRM University, Andhra Pradesh, had 92 percent placement with the highest annual salary offer of Rs 29.5 lakh and an average salary of Rs 6.2 lakh.
This year, SRM University, Andhra Pradesh, a private university founded in 2017, had their first placement drive.
About 500 recruiters participated in the placement process. The programme is still going on and the university is still making efforts to get all the students placed. The university’s department of corporate relations and career services conducted training sessions, aptitude tests, mock interview rounds to prepare students for interviews.
About 57 percent job offers were in the “super dream and dream” categories for highly desirable jobs. The highest pay package went to a student of the department of computer science and engineering.
