AIBE 2024: Exam tomorrow; things to carry, guidelines

NEW DELHI: The Bar Council of India will be conducting the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) tomorrow, on December 10, 2023. The AIBE examination 2024 will be held in offline mode using OMR-based test format.

As per the exam pattern, AIBE 2024 paper will have 100 questions in total and candidates will get 3 hours 30 minutes to complete the paper. There will be only multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Candidates should ensure that they carry the following items on the exam day

• Admit card

• Valid ID proof

• Passport size photo

• Bare acts or bare acts with the least comments

• Blue or black dot pen

• Registration documents

AIBE 2024: Exam day guidelines

• Candidates must bring their admit card and one photo ID to their respective test centre. Those who do not have an admit card will be denied entry to the examination centre.

• Candidates are only permitted to bring BARE ACTS with no notes or remarks in the test centre.

• Electronic devices, such as mobile phones, computers, smart watches, and so on, as well as books or notes are absolutely banned.

• Candidates must not leave the test venue before the exam is over or without submitting the answer sheet.

• Only use a blue or black ball point pen.

• Using a pencil on the OMR page will result in the candidate's disqualification.

• The candidate should input the roll number the on the answer sheet and fill in the appropriate ovals. Any discrepancy will result in disqualification.

• Candidates with a disability of more than 50% will be allowed 20 minutes of additional time per hour. Such candidates are required to submit a valid disability certificate to the invigilator to avail the extra time.
