Teachers with at least 3 years of teaching experience are eligible to apply for AICTE's QIP PG certificate programmes through the official website at aicte.gov.in.

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has opened registration for its QIP PG certificate programmes in computational, non-computational, and management fields for 2026-27. Eligible teachers can apply for the PG certificate courses through the official website at aicte.gov.in.
The online application link for the AICTE QIP PG certificate course will be open until July 5. As per the eligibility criteria, teachers with at least 3 years of teaching experience can apply for the AICTE PG certificate programmes.
According to the official notification, a maximum of 200 applications are allowed per PG certificate programme.
Those completing the PG courses will be awarded with certificates from the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), Indian Institute of Management (IIMs), and National Institute of Technology (NITs).

In May this year, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) opened admissions for teacher education programmes for the academic session 2026.
The programme was offered for integrated M.Sc.Ed. (6-Year), B.Ed. (2-Year), integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. (3-Year), M.A. in education technology (2-Year), and M.Ed. (2-Year).
Additionally, in April, the Indian Institute of Technology Dhanbad (IIT Dhanbad) also announced plans to offer Integrated Teachers Education Programme (ITEP) for the academic year 2026-27.
With the development, the engineering institute has become the 5th IIT to offer the ITEP. While several top colleges are also now offering ITEP courses. The University of Delhi’s Miranda House, Lady Shri Ram College for Women (PSR), and Aditi Mahavidyalaya will be offering the teacher training courses.
