AIIMS BSc Nursing entrance exam 2024 starts today; qualifying cut-off, paper pattern

NEW DELHI: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi will conduct the AIIMS BSc Nursing entrance exam 2024 today and tomorrow. Candidates who registered for the exam should carry the AIIMS BSc Nursing admit card 2024, downloaded from the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in, to the exam centre. As per the schedule, the institute will hold BSc Nursing Post-Basic and BSc Paramedical courses entrance exam on June 22.
Through the entrance exam score, admission into Bachelor of Optometry, Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, BSc (Hons) Nursing, BSc Nursing Post-Basic, BSc in Dental Operating Room Assistant, BSc in Dental Hygiene, BSc in Operation Theatre Technology, and other courses will be offered.
Admission to BSc courses offered at AIIMS will be made entirely on the basis of performance of candidates in the entrance exam. The question paper will be in both English and Hindi medium.
The scheme of AIIMS BSc Nursing entrance exam for each BSc (Hons) Nursing courses is same for all AIIMS. Candidates will be given 2 hours duration to attempt one paper consisting of four sections. The question paper will have multiple-choice based questions (MCQs).
As per the AIIMS BSc Nursing qualifying cut-off, general and EWS category candidates should obtain 50%, OBC candidates should score 45%, and SC, ST should obtain 40% to qualify the exam.

For BSc Paramedical courses, the exam will be held for a duration of one and a half hours. The question paper will consist of MCQs carrying four sections - physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics.
