Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham opens 10th campus in Haridwar with 3 BTech courses

Amrita university is offering Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AID), and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at its new campus.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has established its 10th campus in Haridwar, offering three BTech programmes for the academic year 2025-26. The university will admit students to its engineering courses through the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) scores.
The three courses include Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AID), and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
According to the eligibility criteria, candidates must have at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics each with an aggregate of 60% to be eligible for admission.
Applicants applying for the BTech programmes must note that their date of birth should fall between July 1, 2003 and June 30, 2009 to be eligible to appear for the engineering entrance test.

Amrita University BTech scholarship fee criteria
The university has categorised the tuition fee for the engineering programmes into three slabs on the basis of merit and scholarship eligibility.
Candidates with JEE score above 70 or AEEE rank less than 25,000 or over 90% marks in PCM are eligible to pay a tuition fee of Rs 1,25,000 for CSE, AID, and Rs 1,00,000 for ECE course, according to slab 1.
The slab 2 says that those with JEE score of more than 50 and 70 or AEEE rank between 25,000 and 50,000 or having more than 75% marks in PCM are required to pay the tuition fee of 1,50,000 for CSE, AID and Rs 1,25,000 for ECE programme.
