AP POLYCET 2024 registration concludes tomorrow at polycetap.nic.in; scholarship schemes

AP POLYCET 2024 will be held on April 2 for admission in diploma-level courses offered by polytechnic colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
NEW DELHI: Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training will conclude AP POLYCET 2024 registration on the official website, polycetap.nic.in, tomorrow. As per the schedule, AP Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET 2024) will be held on April 2 for admission into diploma-level courses offered by polytechnic colleges in the state.
Eligible candidates can fill the AP POLYCET 2024 application form by submitting a fee of Rs 400. However, candidates from SC and ST categories will have to pay Rs 100 as registration fee. The examination authority will issue admit cards a week prior to the exam. The AP POLYCET 2024 result will likely be announced on May 13.
Candidates applying for the polytechnic exam should belong to Andhra Pradesh and have passed Class 10 from a recognised board. Those appearing for Class 10 board exam can also register.
Students who have cleared Class 10 from NIOS, APOSS, or other equivalent boards should have passed all the subjects, including maths, physics and chemistry. They should have secured a minimum of 35% marks in each subject.

Scholarships
Students admitted in the polytechnic colleges will be eligible to apply for the following two scholarships:
Pragati scholarship: This scheme is being implemented by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). A total of 5,000 scholarships are disbursed every year among meritorious girl students for pursuing technical education. Selected students receive an amount of Rs 50,000 per annum during the programme.
Saksham scholarship: The Education ministry has charged the AICTE to implement the Saksham scholarship scheme that supports specially-abled children to pursue technical education. An amount of Rs 50,000 per annum will be disbursed to selected students during the course term.
