NEW DELHI: The Assam government has made an announcement to waive off the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for graduate and postgraduate Teachers (GT and PGT) of secondary schools. Instead, the state will now conduct a TET-cum-Recruitment Test for these positions.
The key highlight of this new approach is that successful candidates in the TET-cum-Recruitment Test will be considered equal to the number of vacancies available.
