NEW DELHI : The Assam elementary education department, on Tuesday, launched a new YouTube channel, in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha Assam, to provide online educational content for students of Classes 1 to 5.
The channel, named EKaksha Assam, has educational content in both Assamese and English for students of Classes 1 to 5, school and higher education minister Ranoj Pegu announced.
The Assam government has started the new academic session in government schools from April 1. The YouTube channel has been launched to make educational content more easily accessible for students and is a step towards blended learning.
