BPSC TRE 2.0 registration 2023 ends today at bpsc.bih.nic.in; eligibility criteria revised

BPSC TRE 2023 Phase 2: BSc, MSc, BTech students can also apply now for 69,706 posts of school teachers.
NEW DELHI : The Bihar Public Service Commission will close the registration window for Teacher Recruitment Exam (TRE) phase 2 today, November 14. Eligible candidates can register for BPSC TRE 2.0 on the official website, bpsc.bih.nic.in.
BPSC has also revised the eligibility criteria for the second phase of Bihar school teacher exam for recruitment of teachers for Classes 6 to 8. As per the new eligibility criteria, BSc, MSc, and BTech students can also apply for the exam now. The decision was taken after aspirants who have studied these courses demanded to be eligible.
The revised eligibility criteria for BPSC TRE phase 2 2023 are as follows:
- BA or BSc and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or
- BA or BSc with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education or
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (BEd) or
- Higher secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (BElEd) or
- Higher secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and four-year BA/BSc-Ed or BAEd/BScEd or
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and BEd (Special Education) or
- Post-graduation with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade and 3-year integrated BEd-MEd
- BCA degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education/BEd/BEd (special education)/MCA with at least 55% marks and 3-year integrated BEd-MEd or
- BTech and BEd or
- BSc (Bio-technology) and BSc (Electronics) and BEd
The recruitment exam will be conducted for a total of 69,706 posts of school teachers and 916 posts of backward and extremely backward candidates.
