Bihar DElEd CET 2026 registration deadline extended till January 9; exam from January 19

Bihar DElEd Registration 2026: The entrance test will be conducted till February 18, with admit cards scheduled for release on January 10.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the registration deadline for the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) Joint Entrance Examination (CET) 2026. Eligible candidates can now submit the Bihar DELEd 2026 application form and pay the prescribed fee till January 9, 2026.
Candidates can register for the BSEB DElEd entrance exam 2026 through the official website at form.bsebdeled.com. Earlier, the application and fee payment window was scheduled to close on December 24, 2025.
“In the interest of candidates, the period for filling the online examination application form and depositing the examination fee is hereby extended from December 26, 2025 to January 9, 2026. All other terms and conditions mentioned in Advertisement No. P.R. 323/2025 will remain unchanged,” the official notice said.
The Bihar DElEd CET 2026 is schdueld to be held from January 19 to February 18, 2026. The admit cards for the exam will be issued on January 10, 2026, through the official website. Prior to the examination, a dummy admit card will be released to allow candidates to verify their details. The date for correction in the dummy admit card will be notified separately.
After the completion of the exam, the provisional answer key will be published, and candidates will be allowed to raise objections from February 26 to March 1, 2026, within the stipulated process. The result of the DElEd Joint Entrance Examination 2026 is expected to be declared in March 2026.
Bihar DElEd 2026: Exam fee
Candidates from general category, economically weaker section (EWS), backward class (BC), and extremely backward class (EBC) are required to pay an application fee of Rs 960. For candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Divyang categories, the prescribed examination fee is Rs 760.

BSEB DElEd Registration 2026: Documents required
While registering for the Bihar DElEd Joint Entrance Examination 2026, candidates are required to upload the prescribed documents in the online application form.
- Candidates should upload a scanned colour photograph and signature. The photograph size should be between 20 kb and 100 kb with dimensions of 4.5 cm × 3.5 cm, while the scanned signature size should be between 10 kb and 50 kb.
- Candidates are required to upload the Matriculation (Class 10) certificate and marksheet for date of birth verification, along with the Intermediate (Class 12) certificate and marksheet.
- Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates should upload a caste certificate issued by the competent authority. Extremely Backward Class and Backward Class candidates are required to upload an updated non-creamy layer certificate issued by the competent authority. In the case of married women claiming reservation, the caste and updated non-creamy layer certificate must be issued in the name and address of the father, not the husband.
- Candidates claiming Economically Weaker Section status must upload the relevant certificate issued by the competent authority. Candidates claiming Divyang status must upload a disability certificate issued by the competent authority.
- Bihar state candidates must upload a valid residential certificate. Candidates claiming dependent son or dependent unmarried daughter status of serving, retired, deceased, or ex-servicemen personnel who are residents of Bihar must upload the prescribed certificate issued by the competent authority.
