‘Cancel Board Exam 2022’ demand CBSE, ICSE, ISC students amid rising COVID-19 cases
CBSE Class 10, 12 board exams are scheduled to begin from April 12 whereas CISCE will conduct ICSE, ISC exams from April 25, 26 respectively.

NEW DELHI:
With 3-4 days left until the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and ISC, ICSE board exam 2022, students have been demanding cancellation of exams owing to increasing COVID-19 cases across the country.
CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams
are scheduled to be held from April 26 to May 24 and April 26 to June 15, respectively.

The Delhi government had last week issued guidelines for schools asking them to close specific wings or classrooms wherever any student or teacher is found infected. The Haryana education department also directed schools in the state not to make it mandatory for students to attend in-person classes after many students and staff in various schools across NCR cities tested positive for COVID-19.

A student said in a tweet, “The idea to create 2 term exams was to use the result of 1 incase covid cases rises.When you already have term 1 result and most likely cases will be at peak in early or mid May 2022 then kindly cancel term 2 exams.”

A Twitter user asked CBSE, “The pressure of the board can’t be handled once and you are forcing the batch that is at home since 10th board to take the exam twice in different ways?”

Another student tweeted, “as the corona cases are rising daily so request you to cancel the board exams and give numbers on the basis of first term and the practicals taken by CBSE.”
