CBSE to announce Class 10 and 12 assessment scheme for cancelled exams

: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the scheme of Class 10 and 12 assessment for the cancelled exams. The Supreme Court heard the matter today at 10:30 am where CBSE presented the scheme of assessment. Around 30 lakh students were waiting for the CBSE exam assessment scheme.

How will the marks be awarded for cancelled exams?
Marks will be given to CBSE students based on the assessment scheme given above. Supreme Court instructed CBSE that the assessment scheme should be clear and explain whether can be considered for further admission. The CBSE must furnish a complete timeline for the entire process of assessment and the expected result date; it must clarify on the status of board exams; and that the re-exam of Class 12 should be held at the national level when the situation improves.
Exams cancelled
On Thursday, CBSE decided to cancel pending Class 10 and 12 exams which were scheduled to be conducted from July 1 to 15, 2020. The marks for cancelled exams will be awarded as per internal assessment and student’s performance in the last three exams at school.
Class 12 pending exams may be held after the improvement in Covid-19 situation. Students can appear for them as per his/her choice.
