NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reminded schools of the opportunity for Children with Special Needs (CWSN) to avail various facilities and exemptions during the upcoming Class 10, 12 board exams 2025. Schools must submit any requests for these facilities through the Pariksha Sangam web portal to ensure smooth arrangements during exams, the board said.

In order to avail these services, the concerned schools are required to submit requests online via the Pariksha Sangam web portal, just as they did in previous years. The portal will display a list of all CWSN students as per the data filled in the List of Candidates (LOC), along with the facilities that can be availed by each student based on their specific disability.
The schools are instructed to log into the portal using their designated login IDs and passwords to make the necessary selections for the students who wish to utilize any of the permissible facilities. These facilities, once selected, will be reflected on the students' admit cards, ensuring that the examination centers are well-prepared and able to provide the required arrangements without any inconvenience to the candidates.
The CBSE has specified a strict timeline for the submission of these requests. The online portal will be open for the submission of requests and uploading of required documents from December 18, 2024, to December 28, 2024. Schools must ensure that all relevant information is submitted within this period. Requests submitted after the given deadline or through offline modes will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Schools are urged to read the manual attached to the circular carefully and follow the outlined procedure for a smooth and efficient process. The CBSE has also emphasized that no extension of the deadline will be granted, making it crucial for schools to complete the process within the given timeframe.
