Earlier, the board had cancelled Class 10 exams and released objective criteria. This year, Class 10 students will get marks based on the internal assessment and exams conducted by respective schools.
It is expected that a similar method may be adopted for CBSE Class 12 evaluation. In yesterday's meeting , it was decided that CBSE will take steps to prepare the CBSE Class 12 results in a ‘time-bound manner’.
Know last year’s evaluation method
Last year, the board conducted Class 12 exams for some subjects in February and March 2020. The exams for some subjects were cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic and marks for these subjects were awarded based on the average marks obtained in the exams which were held by the board.
Unlike last year, the board has not conducted any exam for Class 12 students. So, CBSE Class 12 evaluation method of last year cannot be applied this year. Students should keep checking the official website to get all updates on CBSE 12th objective criteria 2021.
