Applicants who submitted the CTET 2026 application form before the deadline can edit the form on the official website, ctet.nic.in, before December 26.

As per the schedule, the CTET 2026 exam will be held on February 8 in two shifts, each of 2.30 hours. The first shift is scheduled from 9.30 am to 12 noon, while the second will be conducted from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
Once the CTET correction window is closed, candidates will not be allowed to edit the CTET application form 2026. As per last year's trend, the CBSE board is expected to issue the CTET admit card 2026 in the first week of February, likely on February 6.

The CTET February 2026 saw a record 25.3 lakh registrations, a sharp rise from 20.25 lakh in July 2024 and 16.72 lakh in December 2024.
CTET 2026 Application Form: What can be edited?
Applicants can make corrections in the following details.
- Name of the candidate
- Father’s and mother’s names
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Category
- Address
- Phone and email ID
- Paper selected (ie, Paper I or Paper II, subject to availability of capacity in a particular city), subject to Paper II, language I and/or II opted.
- Name of the institution, college, or university from which the applicant studied.
The board said that the exam city choices submitted by candidates cannot be edited as they will be allotted randomly.

How to edit CBSE CTET application form?
Applicants can make changes to the CBSE CTET registration form by following the instructions given below.
- Go to the CBSE CTET official website, ctet.nic.in.
- Now, click on the “CTET Feb 2026: Online corrections” link on the homepage.
- Enter the CTET application number and password.
- The submitted application form will be displayed.
- Now, edit the incorrect fields.
- Review the CTET form and submit.
CTET is a national-level examination conducted to evaluate candidates for teaching posts in Classes 1 to 8 in central government schools, including Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and other institutions that accept CTET scores.
