Attempt NowNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education has started the post result psychological counselling services for the students whose CBSE Class 10, 12 result 2023 were announced on May 12. The counselling service is also for the parents of the students. The CBSE post result counselling will be available till May 27, 2023, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.

The CBSE official notice reads: “With the announcement of CBSE Results, CBSE will start psychological service from 13 May, 2023 and continue till 27 May, 2023 from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm (Monday to Saturday)”.

There will be a tele-helpline service available for Class 10 and 12 students, which will have a total of 59 experts. These experts will include principals, trained counselors, special educators, and psychologists from CBSE affiliated schools in India, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Oman.
If students need support and advice on their results-related stress and anxiety, they can dial the toll-free number 1800-11-8004 from anywhere in the country to reach the CBSE tele-counselling helpline. In addition to the helpline, helpful tips and information for parents and students are available on the CBSE website under the 'Counselling' link.

For the last 25 years, CBSE has been providing this service to help students overcome common psychological problems related to exams and results.
This year in CBSE Class 12 exams 2023, a total of 16,96,770 students registered, while 21,86,940 students registered for Class 10 exams. The pass percentage for CBSE Class 10 results is 93.12% and for Class 12 it is 87.33%.
