CTET 2021 paper 2 cancelled due to technical glitch, confirms CBSE spokesperson

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2021 paper 2 was cancelled today due to technical glitch, a Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) spokesperson has confirmed. Paper 2 was scheduled to be held today, December 16, from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

It is for the first time that the CTET 2021 exam was conducted in computer-based mode and according to the inputs provided by the students as such they did not face any technical glitches or any other problem.

CTET paper 1 has been conducted successfully from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm today with COVID-19 protocols.
As per CTET exam analysis 2021 , the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate.
The CTET 2021 exam will be conducted for two papers from December 16 to January 13, 2022 (Paper I & II). Paper 1 is for the aspirants who want to become teachers for classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 is for the aspirants who wish to become teachers for classes 6 to 8.
