NEW DELHI: The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for the July 2023 session is set to be held today, August 20. The CTET 2023 July exam will be conducted for two papers. While the CTET paper 1 will be held for a candidate intending to be a teacher for Classes 1 to 5, the paper 2 of CTET 2023 will be for those intending to be a teacher for Classes 6 to 8. The candidates who intend to be a teacher for both levels (Classes 1 to 5 and Classes 6 to 8) will have to appear in both the papers -- paper 1 and paper 2. CTET 2023 July Exam Live Updates

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) administers CTET 2023 exam. The CTET 2023 will be held in two shifts -- the first from 9:30 am to 12 noon and the next in the afternoon between 2:30 pm and 5 pm.

The candidates have been asked to report at the CTET 2023 July exam centre at 7:30 am for shift 1 exam and 12:30 pm for shift 2 exam tomorrow. Candidates reaching the CTET exam centre 2023 after 9:30 am in shift 1 and after 2:30 pm in shift 2 will not be allowed to enter the exam hall and appear for the CTET exam 2023. Candidates will have to take the CTET 2023 admit cards and a valid photo Id proof to the exam centre.

CTET 2023 Exam: What for differently-abled students

  • The differently abled candidates may be given compensatory time of 50 minutes in each paper of CTET 2023 exam
  • Proper seating arrangement, preferably at the ground floor, will be made prior to the start of CTET 2023 exam to avoid confusion
  • The differently abled candidates should bring with them the disability certificate in proper format issued by the Competent Authority and it should be produced at the exam centre to avail the relaxations
