NEW DELHI: The application window of Common University Entrance Test (CUET) has been closed and the National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to issue the admit cards soon to the registered candidates. CUET will be held in the first and second week of July.
CUET will be conducted in 547 cities around India and 13 cities abroad for admission to undergraduate programmes in 44 central universities and other participating institutions.
With only around one month left for the exam to take place, candidates must be preparing for the exam with their full zeal. Candidates appearing for the CUET must prepare a meticulous strategy to crack the exam. To qualify the exam, candidates must prepare an effective study plan that will cover all the important topics and sub-topics.
Here are some tips and guidelines for candidates to help them achieve their best score in the CUET. Below, we have provided some additional tips for the candidates who wish to appear for the CUET exam 2022.

How To Prepare For CUET 2022

Candidates should familiarise themselves with the CUET exam pattern and syllabus well in advance.

Create a CUET study plan that can be followed on a daily basis in order to cover the entire syllabus of CUET.

Use reference books, specially Class 12 NCERT books, for domain test subjects and prepare short notes, which can be used for the revision.

Practice the CUET mock test 2022 after completion of the syllabus.

Solve CUET sample papers to get familiar with questions that will be asked in the CUET exam.

CUET syllabus 2022
There are four sections in the syllabus of CUET 2022. It will have section 1A and section 1B with language-specific questions, section II with domain-specific questions, and section III with general questions.

- List all the topics you want to cover for the CUET entrance test.

Understand the CUET exam pattern 2022
Before taking the exam, candidates should familiarise themselves with the CUET 2022 exam pattern. CUET UG exam pattern 2022 contains the following sections:
- Section IA – 13 languages
- Section IB – 19 languages
- Section II – 27 domain-specific subjects
- Section III – General Test
CUET entrance exam 2022 will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift consists of a language test, two domain-specific papers, and the general test. The second shift includes four domain-specific subjects and language option subjects.
CUET revision plan
Review your short notes and practice CUET objective questions and answers with your notes. Through revision applicants can recall all the details they have studied. Daily revision will help candidates to remember the important facts, topics, and definitions. Practice CUET mock test 2022
NTA has uploaded the CUET 2022 mock test in the month of April at its official website. Applicants are advised to practice as many CUET mock tests as possible before the entrance test. After completing the entire syllabus, solving CUET mock tests will help applicants to assess their preparation.
Taking multiple CUET mock tests will make candidates familiar with the test pattern and give them enough opportunity to brush up their knowledge, and with this much practice applicants will be able to crack the CUET exam 2022.
