CUET 2022 UG application form to be released in first week of April

NEW DELHI: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has released a notification for CUET 2022 entrance exam on Monday. As per the notification, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 application form for UG programmes in the first week of April. The CUET 2022 entrance test for UG courses will be held in the first week of July.

The CUET 2022 for admission to UG courses will be conducted in 13 languages namely Hindi, Punjabi, Assamese, Bengali, Odia, Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Urdu and English.

NTA will also release a notification today providing detailed information on the structure of the CUET 2022 exam . The entrance exam of CUCET 2022 will be conducted in two shifts for a duration of three hours. The question paper of CUET 2022 will include a compulsory language test, two domain-specific tests, and the general test.
The CUCET 2022 entrance exam will be held for 27 specific domains and students will be allowed to select up to six subjects of their choice along with one compulsory language exam.
The participating universities will release their own merit list prepared on the basis of the marks scored by candidates in the CUET 2022 exam. The universities will also conduct their own counseling process and use the merit list to admit students in the various courses.
The admission to performing arts courses like theater, music, art, etc, may be done based on the candidate’s performance in the practical exam and CUET 2022 entrance exam. The universities will conduct the admission to professional programmes such as BTech, B.Arch, MTech based on the JEE Main and GATE scores.
