NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made a provision to modify or add courses and colleges even after submitting the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG 2024) application form. The CUET UG registration process is underway and several aspirants have reported technical issues while filling the form. In this regard, the NTA has answered frequently-asked questions on CUET 2024.
The CUET UG 2024 registration last date is March 26. Several applicants claimed that the CUET application form did not have Delhi University in the list of participating universities.
They also expressed their concern about the admission process if they fail to opt for the university in the application. However, the NTA has clarified that the students will be allowed to add, remove or replace courses or university even after the successful submission of CUET UG online application form. However, additional fees will be charged for selecting more subjects.
The NTA asked candidates to indicate the names of the participating universities where they intend to apply to facilitate sharing of data post result. It also said that there is no cap on the number of universities that can be selected. However, candidates can only appear in a maximum number of 6 tests. It further clarified that they do not have to give the order of preference in the application form.
“In order to support the candidates, a provision has been made in the application form to add more subject (test) / Course (programmes) / University even after the successful submission of online Application Form of CUET (UG) – 2024. Universities and their offered programmes are dynamic and are being updated regularly,” the official statement read.
