NEW DELHI: The two-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) remains the most sought-after course as it provides diverse career options, especially with the advent of new and emerging MBA specialisations. Every year, several MBA entrance exams are held to determine the eligibility for offering admission to candidates. Besides the CAT entrance exam, candidates also appear for Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) among other institute-level and state-level entrance exams.
Most of the MBA aspirants desire to pursue their management programmes from IIMs - India’s best MBA colleges as per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2024). However, there are also several private and government-aided universities which have been ranked in top 20 of NIRF rankings 2024.
