NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has postponed the Diplomate of National Board Post-Diploma Centralised Entrance Test (DNB PDCET). Through the official notice released on April 30, 2021, the NBE has clarified that the DNB PDCET exam has been postponed due to the ongoing surge in COVID-19 cases till further notice. The revised schedule for DNB PDCET 2021 exam will be notified at the official websites.
In the earlier notification released by NBE on April 23, 2021, the DNB PDCET exam was to be conducted on May 9. DNB PDCET is a computer-based entrance exam conducted for admission to 1,073 seats across 14 specialities in 597 hospitals in India.
DNB PDCET 2021 exam postponed
The notice by NBE reads, “Due to ongoing surge in COVID-19 cases and in order to avoid any inconvenience to candidates attending the examination and to ensure their safety, the National Board of Examinations (NBE), has decided to defer the conduct of DNB-PDCET 2021 till further notice.” The new schedule for the DNB PDCET exam will be notified at natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in.
DNB PDCET 2021 upcoming events
The application process closed on April 14, 2021. The registered candidates can download the admit card of DNB PDCET 2021 from the official website. DNB PDCET exam will be conducted in 23 cities across India. The computer-based exam will contain 120 multiple-choice questions, which must be solved in 2 hours. For every correct response, four marks will be awarded, while for a wrong attempt, one mark will be deducted.
