DU UG Admission 2023: BA Programme with psychology, computer applications; here are new SOL courses

DU SOL ADMISSIONS 2023: Last date of registration for the new courses is July 31, 2023.
NEW DELHI: Delhi University's School of Open Learning is launching three new undergraduate programmes from this academic year. These include – BA Programme with psychology, BA Programme with computer applications and BA (Hons) with psychology. Students can apply for admissions in these UG programmes by July 31.
The newly launched courses and their eligibility criteria is given below.
DU SOL Admission 2023: New Programmes
BA Programme with psychology
Duration: 3 years structured with 6 semesters.
Institution: Delhi University School of Open Learning
Eligibility: Class 12 from a recognised board
Number of Seats: Limited to 2,000
Course description: The course focuses on the study of human behavior and mental processes.
BA Programme with computer applications
Duration: 3 years structured with 6 semesters.
Institution: Delhi University School of Open Learning
Number of Seats: Limited to 2,000
Eligibility: Class 12 with 50 percent marks in Mathematics or Computer Science or its equivalent examination.
Course description: This programme has been designed to introduce computational methods to BA Programme students.
BA (Hons) Programme with psychology
Duration: 3 years structured with 6 semesters
Institution: Delhi University School of Open Learning
Eligibility: Class 12 with aggregate 45 percent
Course description: This programme is designed to help students gain a better understanding of psychology as a rapidly expanding field and to promote skill-based learning.

DU SOL Programmes: How to apply
Students can apply through the online application portal https://soladmission.samarth.edu.in/.
The candidates can follow these steps to register and fill the application form:

Visit the SOL website and login for online admission.

Fill in all the relevant information in the Course Details page/Personal Details page.

Upload all scanned copies of the relevant documents. (legible/clear)

After upload of the documents, a payment link will be made available after only verification. (This may take 3-5 days)

After successful payment, download the Fee Receipt and Identity Card.

Admissions for other programmes like BA, BCom, MA, MBA, MCom, BLIS, BBA and more are available on DU SOL before August 31, 2023. Students can register themselves on the SOL DU admission portal and fill out the application form online before the last date for session 2023.
The online admission application process for registration started from June 14 for UG, BLISc and MLISc courses at the official website - sol.du.ac.in.
