EDII Chennai to organise three-day AI and digital marketing training from January 7

The three-day programme scheduled from January 7 to 9 aims to provide hands-on exposure to artificial intelligence applications in modern marketing.
The Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII), Chennai, is organising a three-day training programme, “Foundations of AI and Digital Marketing” from January 7 to January 9 at its Chennai campus.
The programme is aimed at building foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence and its practical use in the rapidly evolving digital marketing ecosystem.
The training is designed to blend conceptual learning with hands-on sessions, enabling participants to understand how AI-driven tools are reshaping marketing strategies, customer engagement and content creation across digital platforms. Real-world use cases and tool-based learning will form a key part of the programme.
The programme is open to students, graduates, aspiring entrepreneurs and working professionals above 18 years of age with a minimum qualification of Class 10 and basic computer knowledge.
Low-cost accommodation will be available for participants, and a government certificate will be issued upon successful completion.
The programme is designed to offer a comprehensive overview of key AI and digital marketing concepts.
Programme coverage
The training programme will cover the following areas:

Basics of artificial intelligence and its real-life applications

Key AI concepts including machine learning, deep learning and large language models

Fundamentals of marketing, customer behaviour and campaign planning

Digital marketing channels such as search engines, social media, email marketing and online advertising

Search engine optimisation (SEO) and research tools including SEMrush and Surfer SEO
Practical exposure
Participants will receive hands-on training using AI and digital marketing tools such as:

Jasper for AI-based content creation

Canva AI for design and visual campaigns

SEMrush for audience and keyword research

Sprinklr for social media analytics and engagement tracking
