FTII JET 2023 registration starts; important dates, application fee

NEW DELHI: The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII Pune) has started the registration process for the FTII JET 2024. Students aspiring for admission into FTII Pune and Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata, can apply for FTII Joint Entrance Test (JET 2024) on the official website, applyadmission.net/JET23-24, till March 17.
The entrance exam will be held on April 6 or 7 and the FTII JET 2024 admit card will be available on March 27. Candidates applying for various courses of FTII and SRFTI, except 3-year PG Diploma in Art Direction and Production Design and 3-year UG Certificate course in Animation and Visual Effects Design, should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent, in any discipline.
Eligibility criteria
Students applying for the 3-year PG Diploma in Art Direction and Production Design should have a bachelor’s degree in applied arts, architecture, painting, sculpture, interior design or related fields in fine arts or equivalent. Candidates aspiring for admission into 3-year UG Certificate course in Animation and Visual Effects Design should have cleared Class 12 board exam from recognised board or diploma of minimum 2 years after Class 10.

Registration fee
The registration fee for one course is Rs 2,000. The registration fee for one course for female candidates and those from SC, ST and PwD categories is Rs 600. Candidates applying for two courses will have to submit Rs 3000 as application fee while the fee for three courses is Rs 4,000. For female candidates, and SC, ST and PwD students the registration fee for two courses in Rs 900 while for three courses the application fee is Rs 1200.
