Galgotias University cancels entrance exam for engineering admission, offers seat on class 12 merit

NEW DELHI: Galgotias University will not conduct the entrance exam for admission to engineering courses for the academic session 2020-21. The admission in all the B.Tech courses will be on the basis of merit of class 12 marks. The entrance exam, also called Galgotias Engineering Entrance Examination or GEEE has been called off due to the ongoing situation on account of Covid-19 pandemic.

Students who have applied for admission in the institute will be shortlisted on the basis of their marks in class 12. The institute will release a merit list of all the applicants in due course of time. Students with their name in the merit list will be called for counselling and further admission process.
The application form of Galgotias University is still open with the last date extended till further notice. Students can fill the application form online from the official website of the college.
